OTTB Pendants and Fox Hunting Inspired Jewelry


OTTB
Pendants are made from a hand carved wax mold. Pendants can be made in sterling silver and 14 or 18 karat gold. The silver is tarnish resistant. Two designs are currently available:

  •  A simpler design with one rose, heart made from horse shoes and OTTB 
  •  larger one with the same design elements, but with five roses

Both have the options of stones. The simpler design can have one stone set on face, while the larger design has five around the rose border. Stone options include, white, blue, black, green or yellow diamonds, sapphires(white or blue) and rubies. Additionally other stones may be available, such as amethyst, tourmaline and aquamarine on special order. Stones are set in bezel settings.  Currently, there are two sizes for the smaller version:

  •  1/2 inch diameter and 
  •  3/4 inch diameter and
  • One size for larger version which is 1 inch diameter. I am in process of making a smaller version of the five rose design which will be 3/4 inch diameter, but with stones set in leaves.

  • ruby

Stone Sizes 

For the smaller version (both sizes) the stone size is 2mm and larger version five rose is 2 mm, while smaller five rose version is 1.3 mm. 

Finishes

  • Matte finish, no oxidation
  • Matte finish, oxidized for contrast-Heavy or light oxidation available
  • Shiny finish-no oxidation

Note: No oxidation for gold • only matte or shiny finish

Engraving

Engraving is available for all pendants, but smaller versions are more limited to amount of content. Engraving is $10 extra and is done by a hand engraver.

For larger pendants, typically the barn name is on front and racing information, such as JC name, foal date and number of starts is on back as shown below:
